Fletcher Hotel Landgoed Avegoor

Beautifully situated on an estate amidst more unique nature (De Veluwe). Well maintained and fairly large rooms with balcony. Thankfully no bath but a good walk-in shower. Staff is lovely and the terrace on the field is nice and cool on hot summer days. Prices are fair for a hotel restaurant. The room and balcony were nice, just a bit of a letdown that smoking is allowed on the latter. It sent smoke into my room from my neighbor’s balcony. The area is perfect for hiking- or bike activities. I took my own bike with me, the hotel has ample and safe parking space. The hotel is close to bus stops and easily accessible by car, train or bike.

The room was spacious and clean. It looks like the rooms have been recently renovated, which can not be said about the rest of the hotel. The location is good, in the vicinity of Veluwe.

I did not have a car during my stay here, but the local bus that comes every half hour, was right outside the property. The hotel finds itself in a very quiet rural area. There is nothing better than having a drink at dawn in their own garden. Even though the rooms need an upgrade, the bed was super comfy and you get clean towels everyday

Remote location but close to a lot of history. We had a very nice sleep and excellent breakfast with so many features. Swimming pool was nice
